El líder de Magnetic Fields, Stephin Merritt, publicará en agosto un disco de rarezas titulado “Obscurities”. Contiene catorce canciones grabadas entre 1994 y 1999, hoy difíciles de encontrar. Tres proceden del musical inacabado compuesto junto a Daniel Handler “The song from Venus”, cinco pertenecen a un 7″ de Magnetic Fields publicado por Merge, una del audiolibro “Coraline” de Neil Gaiman, otra es del álbum “Oh, Merge”, también hay un tema procedente de una casete, etc. Merge lanzará “Obscurities” el 23 de agosto.
