Tanto en España como en el resto del mundo la canción más escuchada fue ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’, de Gotye, batiendo a ‘Call Me Maybe’, de Carly Rae Jepsen. ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ también fue la canción más compartida en todo el mundo a través de Facebook y Twitter.
“Nothing But the Beat 2.0”, de David Guetta, fue el álbum más reproducido en todo el mundo. “Making Mirrors”, de Gotye, y “Take Care”, de Drake, ocuparon el segundo y tercer puesto, respectivamente. Guetta también fue el músico masculino más escuchado, mientras Rihanna encabeza la lista femenina, por delante de Ncki Minaj y Adele.
La aplicación “TuneWiki”, que muestra la letra de la canción mientras se reproduce, fue la más utilizada. Y los británicos Mumford & Sons obtuvieron el récord de reproducciones vía streaming de un álbum recién lanzado en 2012 con “Babel”, que fue reproducido más de 8 millones de veces en tan solo una semana en Estados Unidos.
