El 9 y el 10 de diciembre de 1973, Frank Zappa actuó en el recién inaugurado The Roxy, de West Hollywood (California), ofreciendo un total de cuatro conciertos en los que presentó el álbum “Over-Nite Sensation”. Consideradas legendarias por sus fans, estas actuaciones fueron editadas fragmentariamente en “Roxy & Elsewhere”, “Roxy by Proxy” y “Roxy the Movie”. Ahora, el 2 de febrero, van a ser publicadas completas en la caja de siete CDs “The Roxy Performance”. Además se incluyen pruebas de sonido y grabaciones del 8 diciembre para una filmación, los ensayos del 10 de diciembre y unas sesiones de grabación en los Bolic Studios, en las que Zappa trabajó las canciones del álbum “Apostrophe”.
