Mientras David Bowie sigue en su silencioso retiro, el 26 de abril se lanzará el álbum en vivo “Birthday celebration – live in NYC 1997”, que recoge el concierto que ofreció el 9 de enero de 1997 en el Madison Square Garden de Nueva York con motivo de su cincuenta cumpleaños. Como invitados contó con Lou Reed, Frank Black, Dave Grohl, Robert Smith, Sonic Youth y Billy Corgan.
