Sony Legacy celebra el 40 aniversario de “Pearl”, el último disco de Janis Joplin, con una edición conmemorativa, el doble “The Pearl Sessions”. El disco original, que contenía su archifamosa versión de ‘Me and Bobby McGee’, fue publicado el 11 de enero de 1971, tres meses después de la muerte de Joplin. “The Pearl Sessions”, que será lanzado el 17 de abril, contiene, además del álbum original, las versiones en mono de los singles, descartes descubiertos recientemente, grabaciones en vivo y otras rarezas.
