Como ya hemos comentado con anterioridad, Columbia pondrá a la venta el 16 de noviembre la reedición de “Darkness on the edge of town”, de Bruce Springsteen. El álbum estará disponible en dos versiones.
“The promise: Darkness on the edge of town story” contiene tres CDs y tres DVDs (o tres Blu-Ray). El primer CD recoge el disco original remasterizado. Los otros dos CDs recopilan grabaciones inéditas. Por su aparte, los DVDs contienen seis horas de filmaciones, incluidos el documental de 90 minutos “The Promise: The making of Darkness on the edge of town” y el concierto del Boss en Asbury Park en 2009 en el que interpretó “Darkness…” . La edición se completa con un libro de 80 páginas con el facsímil del cuaderno de notas que Springsteen utilizó durante la grabación del disco.
También se podrá adquirir una segunda edición titulada “The promise”, y que, en dos CDs o cuatro vinilos, sólo contendrá las grabaciones inéditas, un detalle para los bolsillos más castigados por la crisis.
