Ian McCulloch, líder de Echo & The Bunnymen, ha preparados unas ediciones de coleccionista de sus tres primeros discos en solitario: “Candleland” (1989), “Mysterio” (1992) y “Slideling” (2003). El lanzamiento, a cargo de Demon Music, está previsto para el 27 de agosto. Aunque en Facebook McCulloch dice que será en septiembre, coincidiendo con su gira acústica por Reino Unido.
“Candleland” estará disponible en un doble CD que incluye como extras el primer single en solitario de McCulloch, una versión del ‘September Song’ de Kurt Weil publicada en 1984, más caras B y varias remezclas de ‘Faith And Healing’.
“Mysterio” también será publicado en forma de doble CD. Los extras serán ‘Return to Sender’, procedente de una casete editada por “NME”, remezclas, versiones acústicas y grabaciones en vivo.
Finalmente, “Slideling” llegará en un solo CD con siete temas extra, como las versiones de ‘Prettiest Star’, de David Bowie, y ‘Jealous Guy’, de John Lennon.
