El 16 de octubre de 1992 Bob Dylan celebró sus 30 años de carrera con un multitudinario concierto en el Madison Square Garden de Nueva York en el que estuvo acompaño de, entre otros, Lou Reed, George Harrison, Tom Petty, Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder, Eddie Vedder, June Carter y Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Ron Wood, Neil Young y The Band.
Tanto el especial de televisión como el álbum serán editados por Legacy Recordings el 4 de marzo en tres formatos de lujo: doble CD, doble DVD, y un Blu-ray. El audio ha sido remasterizado para la ocasión. En el doble CD se incluyen sendos cortes de Eric Clapton y Sinéad O’Connor grabados durante las pruebas de sonido y que no formaron parte del álbum original. Tanto el DVD y como el Blu-ray incluyen cuarenta minutos de extras: ensayos, entrevistas…
